Purpose and Performance

Aristotle argued that the understanding of the purpose, the behavior could be invoked to explain everything in the universe. "Everything is always changing and moving," he says, "... Everything has a purpose, goal or purpose (telos).

To borrow from Newtonian physics, we could say that everything possible will be updated. For example, an acorn is potentially an oak tree, the process of change and movement that the glans is aimed at realizing this potential links.

A recent study by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (ICPD) suggests that performance relates directly to a particular purpose. The study shows that with a strong sense of purpose and inseparable from commitment, satisfaction and performance are permanent.

This applies to individuals on a personal goal such as weight loss or personal development and professional portfolio managers work on things like performance and productivity. A personal goal or a common goal is the "golden thread" in which an individual or the organization's strategy should be adjusted, the CIPD said in its report: "common goal" 2010.

If we have a specific purpose, we are better able to find concrete evidence for our actions. Every action we take, in line with or aligned to drive our overall objective of the activities.

Here is a simple example - many people know what they want to lose weight. They are probably an idea of the rationale: To be fitter and have a healthy heart. But what most people do not want is a little deeper and understand the values and purpose behind the goal to go.

Imagine trying to lose weight ... You reach for a snack, have that you know you should not, or you sit on the bench, even though you know that you put on your running shoes ...

Yes, I want to lose weight, but it's cold outside, and a cookie is hardly the end of the world ...

STOP - Now you ask yourself what your goal for losing weight ...

Your photo play your children, your grandchildren, wearing a new outfit at your school reunion, your wedding, a sporting challenge you on the job for which you will take ...

Now each action, the right to either feel 100% because it is in line with your purpose - or it will all feel wrong because you go against your values and your purpose - and people find it especially difficult to handle . We experience feelings of guilt and shame when we act outside the parameters of our core values.

The UK's largest coach training organization to report the Coaching Academy that "the achievement of a target of 10% is the 'how' and 90% higher than the" why. "So, realize, what is your goal in the area where you strive for a power ... and you've discovered the secret of unleashing your potential.
