Most filmmakers with completed films, which I always seem to meet are always talking a distribution deal from a big company or an international distribution partner. They seem to think that this is the only way to advance their career. This is understandable, especially after having sacrificed, scrimped, saved and begged to make their film. It is only natural they would see and hope for the incumbent representative or distributor, which they hope and pray to buy their films for international distribution.
